Rugby Championship in Denver?
Yes, it’s true! This weekend Denver will be hosting the Churchill Cup, a major international rugby tournament and even more exciting this is the first year it will be held 100% in the U.S. The actual Churchhill Cup event will be held on June 21, but there are three days of games prior to that for the teams qualifying for the finals. England, Argentina, Canada, Georgia, Ireland, and of course the USA will all be vying for the cup. Tickets are fairly inexpensive around $20 with the events being held at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park. I’ve personally never seen a Rugby game, this looks a fun way to get introduced to the sport so maybe I’ll just have to go cheer on the USA!
