Vote! One Book, One Denver
The One Book, One Denver is a city wide book club that is run by Mayor Hickenlooper. It’s a free program with all sorts of community events. I really enjoyed the 2008 book and programs. New for this year, participants can vote among a selection of 27 books. Voting does require registering an email address, but it is fast and free. Make sure you log in soon and cast your ballot, it closes on June 15.
I’ve read quite a few of the books, but of the ones I haven’t it was a difficult choice. I ultimately settled on The Age of Innocence since I own the book and I’ve been meaning to read it for years.
